About this piece
Cast plaster forms a rectangular wall relief panel filled with overlapping flowers, curling buds and deeply veined foliage. Two butterflies cross the dense botanical field, their ribbed wings projecting above the leaves and petals. Rounded flower centres, folded edges and crisp incised lines create varied depth across the surface. The asymmetric composition reads clearly as a single feature panel or within a framed wall arrangement. Its modelled detail remains legible in either a monochrome architectural finish or a selectively painted treatment.
