About this piece
Cast plaster forms a richly layered ceiling medallion organized around a recessed lattice field and a compact central chandelier opening. Four diagonal foliate stems divide the center, while concentric moulded bands lead outward to deeply relieved shells, curling scrolls, flower clusters, and loose ribbon details. The shaped perimeter follows the ornament with alternating points and inward curves, giving the ceiling medallion a broad, articulated silhouette. Cast in our Seattle studio, it suits formal entry halls, salons, and other rooms centered on a chandelier or pendant.
