About this piece
Cast in our Seattle studio, this custom and bespoke commission combines a square plinth, leaf-cut base, woven body and deeply modelled floral garlands. A stepped neck rises through smooth mouldings to an enriched collar and clustered finial. The alternating plain surfaces and undercut ornament give the form a clear silhouette from frontal and oblique views. It can be modelled from a supplied drawing, photograph or existing profile, then provided as a finished GRP, GRC or fibre-reinforced gypsum casting, or as the silicone mould itself.
