About this piece
Cast ornament forms this tall corbel bracket around two woven lattice panels, an arched crest and a faceted central block. Layered scrolls frame the upper cartouche, while rosettes, curled foliage and bead-like pendants articulate the narrower lower section. Deeply modelled edges and recessed latticework give the bracket a pronounced relief and a support-like visual weight without suggesting a structural function. Cast in our Seattle studio, it suits shelves, mantel ledges, beam ends and broad framed openings.
