About this piece
Cast ornament forms this deeply modelled corbel bracket, with an egg-and-dart top cap above layered scrolls, pierced foliage and a central floral rosette. Broad volutes establish the load-bearing appearance, while ribbed leaves and the tapered pendant create a long vertical drop. The pronounced projection and undercut openings produce clear shadows at doorway surrounds, mantel ends and beneath architectural beams. Modelled and cast in our Seattle studio, the bracket can be used singly or as a mirrored architectural pair.
