About this piece
Cast relief forms a diamond-shaped ceiling design centered on four radiating shell lobes and a circular opening. Deep curling scrolls, small floral sprigs and sections of raised latticework fill the surrounding field, creating clear shadow between the enriched elements. The component can be repeated within a coffered ceiling framework, with its pointed geometry establishing an ordered grid across the ceiling. Modelled and cast in our Seattle studio, the design suits formal halls, stair halls and other ceilings composed from repeated ornamental sections.
