About this piece
Cast crown moulding forms a continuous Baroque composition of linked oval C-scrolls, curling acanthus leaves, rosettes and dense flower clusters. Deep relief and pierced-looking undercuts create strong shadow around the foliage, while the plain upper and lower edges provide clear transitions to the ceiling and wall. The repeating crown cornice suits libraries, formal rooms and detailed period interiors. Modelled and cast in our Seattle studio, it is available as finished castings in GRP, GRC or fibre-reinforced gypsum, or as the silicone mould.
