About this piece
Cast plaster crown moulding and cornice combines a broad basketweave field with paired scroll brackets and outward-spreading acanthus foliage. Raised interlaced bands give the central enrichment a regular woven rhythm, while the modelled leaves form deeper accents between running sections. Plain upper and lower mouldings frame the ornament and establish a clear transition between wall and ceiling. Cast in our Seattle studio, this crown moulding suits Georgian interiors, formal bedrooms, reception rooms and historic restoration work requiring a strongly articulated ceiling perimeter.
