About this piece
Cast in our Seattle studio, this symmetrical ornamental appliqué is centred on a broad, deeply fluted shell with a scalloped edge. Layered acanthus leaves rise into paired volutes, framing a tiered floral form and clustered fruit crest. Smaller scrolls and pendant leaves anchor the lower corners and centre. Crisp ridges, recessed folds and undercut foliage give the relief a pronounced shadow line. The appliqué suits placement above doors, within wall panels, on architectural frames or as a focal enrichment for restoration work.
