About this piece
Cast in our Seattle studio, this full-round column combines a smooth, gently tapered shaft with a richly modelled Corinthian capital. Layered acanthus leaves rise beneath paired corner volutes, while a small floral enrichment marks the center of the abacus. The shaft stands on a square pedestal with a recessed panel, stepped plinth and moulded transition at the neck. Its clear division of ornament, plain shaft and architectural base suits entrance porticos, covered porches and classically ordered interior colonnades.
