About this piece
Cast plaster crown moulding is arranged as a continuous arcade between restrained upper and lower profiles. Rounded beads punctuate the spaces around each arch, while pendant three-lobed floral forms bridge the repeats and cast deeper shadows across the lower edge. The alternating solid and open shapes maintain a clear rhythm along straight or curved cornice runs.
