About this piece
Cast in our Seattle studio, this running crown moulding and cornice carries a continuous rinceau of broad acanthus leaves, tight scrolls and flower-centred roundels. Pendant palmettes divide the repeating ornament, while the deeply modelled foliage crosses and curls around the circular rosette forms. A projecting upper cap and rounded lower moulding contain the enrichment within a clear horizontal profile. The crisp relief remains legible in raking light and suits panelled rooms, libraries and formal interiors requiring an ornamental plaster crown moulding and cornice.
