About this piece
Cast plaster gives this crown moulding and cornice a broad enriched face framed by fine beaded borders and restrained outer mouldings. Repeating rosettes anchor paired sprays of deeply modelled foliage, while continuous S-scrolls link each repeat. Small flowers and berry-like details occupy the spaces above and below, keeping the pattern dense without obscuring its rhythm. Cast in our Seattle studio, the cornice suits formal rooms, reception spaces and historic restoration where a strongly articulated wall-to-ceiling transition is required.
