About this piece

Cast in our Seattle studio, this crown moulding combines an open woven lattice with slender rails articulated by regularly spaced bindings. A prominent central cartouche interrupts the repeating pattern, framed by layered acanthus leaves, curling scrolls and small floral clusters. The relief shifts from the crisp, shallow lattice to deeper undercut ornament around the cartouche, giving the cornice a measured sequence of light and shadow. It suits libraries, studies and formal interiors requiring a continuous enriched crown. Finished castings are available in GRP, GRC or fibre-reinforced gypsum, along with the silicone mould.
