About this piece
Cast capitals & bases combine a tall, tapered field of upright acanthus leaves with broad scroll volutes beneath a stepped abacus. Smaller curled leaves fill the corners, while a single flower rosette marks the center of each capital face. The layered foliage rises in distinct tiers, giving the capitals clear vertical movement and pronounced relief. Made in our Seattle studio, these capitals & bases suit formal column and pilaster compositions in classical interiors, porticos and historic restoration work.
