About this piece
Cast plaster capitals & bases pair a deep acanthus bell with a broad enriched neck and restrained molded base. The capitals carry layered leaves, bead-like forms, an egg-and-dart border, and an upper band filled with scrolling foliage, lattice panels, and centered rosettes. Crisp openings and undercut edges give the pattern clear shadow. Made in our Seattle studio, these capitals & bases are available in GRP, GRC, or fibre-reinforced gypsum, or as silicone moulds, and can be cast to suit the project shaft.
