About this piece
Cast capitals and bases combine pointed and rounded arches with dense interlaced latticework, slender colonnettes and layered foliate forms. Scalloped borders crown the upper register, while deeply relieved arcades and geometric screens wrap the curved face. Repeated palmettes and small scrolls soften the disciplined pattern without obscuring its structure. Modelled and cast in our Seattle studio, these capitals and bases suit Moorish and eclectic interiors, entrance structures and restoration work, and can be produced in GRP, GRC or fibre-reinforced gypsum to coordinate with the specified shaft.
