About this piece
Cast plaster capitals & bases combine a square profile with a deep lower band of curling acanthus leaves. Tall recessed panels above hold slender floral buds, while a projecting dentil course supports the broad upper fascia. Repeated looped bands and small round bosses articulate the fascia on every visible face, and stepped mouldings form the bases. The crisp relief and full corner returns suit substantial square shafts in classical entrances and interiors. Each set is modelled, moulded and cast in our Seattle studio for installation across the United States.
