About this piece
Cast capitals & bases combine a ringed upper transition with overlapping acanthus leaves arranged in a deep, regular sequence. Broad spiral volutes turn outward at each side, their parallel mouldings continuing into the stepped lower profiles. A central pendant leaf gives the capitals & bases a clear vertical axis, while undercut edges produce strong shadow between the foliage. Modelled and cast in our Seattle studio, these capitals & bases suit formal classical interiors, entrance schemes and historic restoration work.
