About this piece
Cast capitals & bases combine deep pendant acanthus leaves with narrow ribbed stems, curled leaf tips and broad spiral scrolls. A small rosette centers the lower stepped profile, while repeated foliage creates a strongly modeled transition around the column shaft. The crisp undercutting and layered relief suit Beaux-Arts and other formal classical interiors or entrances. These capitals & bases are modeled, molded and cast in our Seattle studio and can be produced in GRP, GRC or fibre-reinforced gypsum to suit the specified shaft.
